CMI EPTI came into existence in September 2004 when the CMI Group purchased the assets of Erie Power Technologies Inc. Erie Power Technologies was the corporate successor to a long-standing boiler manufacturing company headquartered in Erie, PA that commenced operations in 1840. |
CMI EPTI designs and supplies horizontal HRSGs all over the world.
Our customers are engineering, construction and OEM companies that are hired by an industrial or power generation company to oversee the design and construction of a new facility or the modification to an existing one. On some occasions, the customer may be owner of the power generating facility.
CMI EPTI engineers its products while subcontracting the majority of the manufacturing to its global supply chain. Suppliers are evaluated in accordance with CMI's ISO 9001 processes to ensure that suppliers’ operations meet all the requirements for quality, performance and schedule.
CMI EPTI Aftermarket provides technical assistance related to problem solving equipment performance, as well as spare or replacement part services. In addition, CMI EPTI provides construction advisors or services to assist customers during the installation and startup of its equipment.
