The purpose of the LH-TOP, for horizontal furnaces, is to provide the set points to the heating control of the furnace and to the control of the line speed. The LH-TOP system reduces the reject materials and maximizes the production by choosing the best heating strategy during steady stage and transient situation.
The characteristics of the LH-TOP are mainly:
- Homogeneity and repeatability of control
- Improvement of the metallurgical quality of the products in stable and transient modes, not only for conventional annealing but also for other cycles when applicable which are treated with more stringent temperature tolerances
- Maximization of the production by applying an optimum management regarding the Non-oxidation and the radiant tubes furnaces
- Optimize the specific consumption by maximizing the Radiant tube furnace capacity
- All heating and cooling chambers are under the LH-TOP control. By consequence operators can focus on other tasks, especially the strip quality and trouble which may occurs
LH-TOP – Reheating furnaces -:
