- horizontal direct-fired furnace with all fiber lining to increase the flexibility of the furnace. Burners are low emission burners
- combination to different type of cooling to obtain the required metallurgical properties and surface quality : Air or mist or water cooling
- carrousel rolls or lifting rolls make possible to inspect and change working rolls while at the same time allow continuous production with good atmosphere control
- low emission design for heating (NOx) and cooling (scale)
- clever furnace control thanks to level 1 & patented Mathematical model LH-TOP® which optimize the production with tele-maintenance, remote control and assistance on process parameters
- Annealing temperature from 800°C and 1200°C to allow recrystalisation
- Specific cooling rate to avoid carbide precipitation at boundary grain taking care of flatness and thermal homogeneity
- Control of furnace atmosphere with oxygen contents between 2 and 8% depending of requirements
- Strip width from 600mm to 2000mm
- Output until 200 t/h or more at a line speed of 150 m/min
