The shareholding of the CMI Group has been stable since 2002, the year in which Usinor, then the shareholder of Walloon steelmaker Cockerill Sambre, sold its shareholding to a private independent shareholding structure.
This is made up of 80.65 % de Euremis Luxembourg s.a., a company owned by Bernard Serin, Chairman and Managing Director of CMI, and Pierre Meyers, Vice-President of the Board of the CMI Group. The remaining19.35 % of the shares are held by a number of Directors of the CMI Group. It should also be noted that the SOGEPA, the Walloon Management and Shareholding Company, still holds a single share (and a seat on the Board) and thus continues to lend its support to decisions taken by the CMI Group.
