Bath Equipment & Air Knives for Processing Lines

Throughout the world, CMI Processing Lines supplies turnkey galvanising lines, but also sub-assemblies. The bath equipment is a critical component of such lines, as the heart of the coating process. CMI has developed its own bath equipement to fulfill industrial and market requirements. It can be installed in new lines, or be installed to upgrade existing facilities.

 CMI bath equipment possesses unique key features with optimal flexibility :

    • With its sharp nozzle and well designed gas-supply and distribution system, optimal performance can be achieved thanks to very uniform pressure distribution at the nozzle exit

CMI activities with an interest in CMI immersed rolls and jet:

  • Baffle positioning as close as 2 mm from the edge for minimal noise and splashing
  • Coating weight from 25 to 400g/m² per side
  • Maximum speed of 200m/min
  • Versions for all coatings: from pure Zn to aluminized, including new alloys with Mg
  • Special bearings for smooth rotation
  • Designed for strip widths up to 2100 mm
  • Pressure stability along nozzle width of ± 1%
