The wide range of products able to be rolled by these mills includes low, medium, high carbon steels and Stainless Steel along with copper, brass and a number of alloys.
Additionally, a very wide range of strip widths can be treated, and output thickness can be as wafer thin as 0.03 mm for Brass and Copper and 0.09 mm for Mild steel. And with mill speeds of up to 500 metres per minute, medium levels of productivity and better cost-effectiveness are guaranted.
The mill is capable of offering very close gauge tolerances on wide strip width range as well as metals from copper to stainless steel. The faster roll change will be possible due to small and floating work rolls.
CMI has its own highly trained engineers to assist in erecting and commissioning all of the rolling mill equipment. CMI can assist customers at every step of the process.
