The wide range of matels able to get required elongation and suface quality by these mills includes low, medium, high carbon steels. Additionally, a very wide range of strip widths can be treated, and output thickness can be as wafer thin as 0.15 mm. And with mill speeds of up to 1300 metres per minute, high levels of productivity and better cost-effectiveness are guaranted.
The mill is capable of offering improvement in mechanical properties, close strip elongation tolerances, excellent flatness and better surface finish on cold rolled and annealed strip.
CMI is having offline skinpass mill with wet and dry skinpass system in the portfolio. It can supply inline Skinpass mill for continuous annealing line, continuous galvanizing line and colour coating line. Skinpassing quality is controlled by rolling force, strip tension or combination of both as per process requirement.
CMI has its own highly trained engineers to assist in erecting and commissioning all of the rolling mill equipment. CMI can assist customers at every step of the process.
